Suggestions for discussion topics at future meetings
(one topic per meeting - each faith would give 15-min presentation to group):

•  The many faces and names of God – in written/verbal/visual form

•  Ritual uses of light (e.g., candles, sun worship in Native American tradition, Menorah, etc.)

•  Ritual uses of water (e.g., cleansing uses in Christian baptism, Jewish Mikvah (sp?) baths, etc.)

•  Ritual uses of food (e.g., Christian communion with wine and bread, Jewish Seder, etc.)

•  Fasting rituals and traditions

•  Ritual uses of music (what about modifying the words to a common tune as our own anthem?)

•  Rituals for spiritual cleansing (Rite of Confession, Forgiveness of Sins, etc. Also, if your faith expression recognizes them, how are “transgressions” labeled/acknowledged/ forgiven?)

•  Customs related to dress, lifestyle (e.g., head coverings (Hajib), keeping a Kosher home, etc.)

•  After life beliefs

•  Holidays/Festivals/Celebrations

•  Others?
