AnnouncementsBASKET SOCIAL Wednesday, October 6 Doors open 5:30 p.m., Drawing begins 7 p.m. Fellowship Hall, Union UCC, Neffs Tickets are $5 each with 25 chances to win a basket and door prize and are available from Dolly Mulcahy, 610-262-8696, or the church office. There are only 150 tickets, so secure yours early! Donations of filled baskets (valued about $10) or door prizes can be brought to the church office at any time, or to Fellowship Hall between 12 noon & 4 p.m. on Wednesday October 6th. Hot dogs and soda will be served prior to the social. Donations of desserts are welcome. Donations of baked goods can be brought to the kitchen on Wednesday evening. If you need a basket, call Dave or Dolly Mulcahy.BACKPACK SUNDAY September 12th Bring your backpack to church for the 10:30 worship. Start the school year off with a special blessing!HUG PLAYGROUP HUG (Help Us Grow) is making a huge change this fall. We’re still going to meet, but with our kids. HUG, a support group for moms, will now be a HUG Playgroup, a support group for moms AND kids. So Help Us Grow with our kids and join us on Friday mornings. Contact Debbie Wenner 610-799-4584.GOD'S GARDEN GIFTS (Vegetable Exchange and Food Bank Offering) will start on Sunday July 4th. Home gardeners will bring in the bounty of their gardens, worshippers are invited to take the vegetables they need and make a donation to the Northern Lehigh Food Bank. The Mission Committee will organize the collection and delivery of cash donations and remaining produce to the Northern Lehigh Food Bank. |
